Daughter purchased a discount card for KFC to benefit a high school charity located in Manteca, Ca She took me to KFC in Lodi, Ca because she wanted to treat her dad to a meal and doesn't have much money because she was a missionary to Tanzania, Africa. The Lodi manager pointed out very quickly "only at participating" stores. Apparently, Lodi franchise doesn't participate.
Lodi KFC and others have just lost at least one customer in lODI AND everywhere else. If discount cards are sold for charity, they should be honored by all your stores.

It's not the store's fault. My guess is that the school went to one store in their area for this deal, so of course the odds are that not every store is going to accept it. Gotta read the fine print and when in doubt, call ahead and ask.
