Chase Did Same to me...

ARKANSAS -- Chase bank did same to me. I have Chase card with $3000 limit since 2005. Credit scores in upper 700's. I had a $60 balance and did not get a statement in December of 2012. In January of 2013 I noticed a $15 late charge and $1.33 in interest. I called and they agreed to waive the late charge and interest and I sent a check to pay balance in full, but next time I tried to use the card I was denied...lmfao, I will never use it again...I have others.

You didn't pay your bill, so it isn't suprising that a hitch developed. The most important detail is missing - when your card was declined, and you called to get an explanation, what was it?

I've been a Chase customer with two cards since 2005, and I've had no issues whatsoever. It is one of the two best credit card issuers I have ever used, based on customer service, billing and web portal, and rewards - sorry it didn't work out for you.

I've had a Chase card for 10 years now. I've never had a problem. Because I moved a lot in my early 20s, I opted for paperless statements early on. It helps to prevent missing bills.

On the bright side, at least you got the late charge and interest waived.
