UNKNOWN -- I downloaded a ton of really, really hard songs to find about 3 or 4 months ago and I played them thru my computer with no problem. I was off the computer since October,2012 and just got on today to play some of those songs and it would not allow me to unless I subscribe to the PRO or somekind of bull version. I downloaded them mostly for free but I do not consider it free because I downloaded a ton of my music just for people to share and download. I do not think they have the right to block those songs after they gave you the permission to download them. Besides, some of those songs I downloaded had a fee in which I gladly paid for. Bearshare is a TOTAL RIP OFF and should be sued for false advertisement. I am deleting it as soon as I find a way to transfer my remaining songs to a new music website. It sounds like Limewire Time. Did this happen to anybody else out there? If so, you can E-MAIL me at: xmaryxfredx23@aim.com. I will soon have a new library of Classic Rock, Blues, Southern Rock, Hard Rock and many other styles of music to SHARE with people. I look at it this way!! It is like lending your buddy an album or CD in the old days after you purchased it yourself. I'm a musician and I do not think sharing or trading music hurts the musician as much as they say. I have my own recordings of music I wrote, played and recorded myself and I had it on Bearshare for anyone who wanted it for free. I figure, that is the best way to get your music out there for people to hear. Give it to them for free!!
