Enterprise Car Rental - Rip Off Scam
Dodge Charger - Complaint
HAMPTON, VIRGINIA -- I rented a Dodge Charger from Enterprise car rental on November 28, 2012. I decided to acquire Enterprises insurance instead of using my policy. It was a one day rental. I returned the car the next day. An Enterprise employee did a check of the vehicle, she did not find anything wrong. I was then driven home in this same Dodge charger by an Enterprise employee. I use their service frequently and had been satisfied with the company.
In January 2013 I received an e mail from Enterprise damage recovery stating I had done damage to the Charger and to please fill out the attached damage report. I immediately called Enterprise as I had returned said vehicle without damages, had not been in any accidents nor hit a pot hole. I was told it was OK as I wouldn't be charged as I had purchased coverage when I rented the car.
I was not satisfied with this statement as I had not caused any damage and I couldn't have been the only person who drove that car from November 2012 to January 2013. I know at least one other person who drove it. That would be their employee who drove me home in it. I have never been in an accident in the forty three years I have been driving.
