McDonalds - Dropping Food on Floor

Complaint

RINGGOLD, GEORGIA -- Me & my daughter came in to eat breakfast on Sunday, Jan.27th at 4:30 am. I watched a female employee in the kitchen have a pile of wrapped breakfast burritos in her hands & dropped one of them on the floor. When she picked it up I expected her to throw it in the trash but she put it in the warmer drawer with the rest of them...very unsanitary. this is how people get food poisoning and get germs spread to them.

You can tell McDonalds about this at http://www.mcdonalds.com/us/en/contact_us.html so they can inform the franchise owner to take corrective action concerning this problem.

Did you bring it to the attention of management at the time? They can't fix what they don't know about.

There is no "5 second rule" when it comes to restaurant food that is dropped on the floor...even if it's still wrapped. I wouldn't want to eat something that was knowingly dropped on the floor.

Nobody will get food poisoning from what you reported, and the food itself didn't touch the floor. Nonetheless, it is toally unacceptable behavior. You should let a manager know ASAP.
