Direct TV - Impossible Company to Deal With

WASHINGTON DC, DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA -- I have had Direct TV since November 2012. I am paying $200.00 for early cancellation. That is how awful it has been dealing with this company. Every interaction leaves me aggravated. I was having a lot of problems, and it finally took the threat of cancellation to have a service call free of charge. They fixed the problem and then added $5.99 a month 'protection plan' which I had not authorized. It has been one bad experience after another. The staff are always polite, but they do not have the flexibility to help you. I tried speaking to supervisors over the course of the year, and they never followed through. I will never use this company again - too hard to deal with.
