RALEIGH, NORTH CAROLINA -- This company adverstises that they find ex offenders jobs. They require an application fee and tell you that they will find you a job in 60 days or your money back. When calling to get an update they don't answer.

When the 60 days approach they send you a letter to extend. Still no jobs and then they send you on interviews that don't even meet you back ground.

When you don't go on the interview which could be 30 miles away they say that you in violation of the contract and your screwed out of you money that you didn't have in the first place. Beware this company operates on application fees. They just send you to an interview with someone who has placed an ad on craigslist. I could have done that myself.

What a coincidence. I just saw an ad for this staffing agency a couple days ago. My first thought was "Oh that's great, someone is helping people with felonies who have paid their dues to society find a job". But then I saw they require an upfront "fee" and my initial positive reaction faded away. If they must charge something, at least they could wait until the person was working and earning a paycheck.

What you describe is unfortunate, but also not surprising. Think about it - how could the company survive if it gave everyone who didn't find a job in 60 days a refund?

Helpful review to others, who probably can't afford to fall for a scheme like this one.
