Hertz Car Rental - Customer Service
NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE -- For a problem that should be able to be handled pretty easily and quickly I have had an extremely difficult and frustrating time with Hertz. I was directed to rent a car from them after an accident, the insurance company of the other person was paying for the rental. I initially agreed to prepay for the tank of gas, however was told that if I ended up bringing the car back full I would just be refunded the money. When I returned the car the individual taking it told me everything was fine, I let him know that the car was full and he said there would not be a charge. A few days later there was a charge for the gas on my account- long story short I have had two different people at the location tell me they would file the paperwork and that I should have my refund in two weeks. I have spoken to the Hertz customer service as well and my problem has still not been solved. The workers at the Hertz location I used are not willing to take an extra two seconds to explain things or actually listen to your problem so they can resolve it. Customer service transfers you without telling you what they are doing... someone else picks up the phone and you have to explain the whole thing again.
I am extremely dissatisfied with this company and would not recommend anyone using them... I am a student and the price of a tank of gas matters to me!
