Whirlpool Conquest Refrigerator Side by Side, Ice Dispenser Quit Working.

APPLE VALLEY, MINNESOTA -- I have lost all respect for Whirlpool! We bought a Whirlpool Conquest refrigerator from Appliance Smart and 8 month after we owned it, the ice dispenser quit working. After talking to Appliance Smart, they told us we had to go through the manufacturer. What a joke! My husband thought maybe he could fix it as he is a handyman, but when he looked for the part, he found out we'd have to replace the entire door which cost hundreds of dollars.

Our old refrigerator which we had 20 years is still working and in the garage...we just thought we'd upgrade and get the ice maker. I highly recommend no one buy anything from Whirlpool as they do not stand behind their products!!!

I'd like to see more reviews as this is the only way to protect consumers from "as!@@@@@" like Whirlpool. Believe these reviews!!!!

All you need to do is contact an authorized Whirlpool service center that services your area. Your complaint should be with Appliance Smart because they should have given to the service number when you contacted them.

I bought a whirlpool side by side frig 2 years ago it now is in my kitchen doing absolutely nothing. when I contacted Whirlpool they said the only thing I qualified for was a warranty which costs hundreds.they do not stand behind their products.I seriously questions honesty.
