Priceline Hotel Name Your Price - Do Not Trust Hotel Ratings, Plan to Pay More for Less

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA -- Booked what was supposed to be a 3 star hotel through Name your price in San Francisco and was booked in a run down hotel with poor ratings that prior reviews clearly highlighted the issues. Price was even higher than the regular booking rates of hotel. Customer Service totally unwilling to fix the booking prior to the arrival date. Priceline has no commitment to protecting their users.

Go Elsewhere for your prepaid hotel bookings.

"Star" ratings for hotels are of little to no value in most cases. There is not true standard for these ratings and aside from a few travel based websites the ratings are rarely verified and some "star" rating systems are actually reported by the location and never verified.
