Finishline online doesn't check the accuracy of their orders

MANHATTAN BEACH, CALIFORNIA -- I ordered LeBron Performance pant online, but I didn't notice that they sent me a large TALL pant, instead of a regular large. I didn't notice until after I washed it, so of course, it can't be returned. Now, I am out the money and I can't wear them, unless I grow five inches. That is wrong and I will never buy anything from Finishline again.

could the pants be hemmed to the proper length?

I was just going to suggest that. If you're all thumbs with hemming, find a tailor who could to it for you. Most dry cleaners can as well.
