Taco Bell - Super Bowl Ad

HOUSTON, TEXAS -- I am completely offended. I just watched your Superbowl ad (with my children in the room). Evidently you pulled your ad with the box of tacos and veggie tray to not offend or promote anything against vegetables. I thought that was silly--but now, to see you would replace with a suggestive ad with senior citizens coming out of bathrooms with younger people...And old man holding shirt up to show chest? I am offended. I will never go to any Taco Bell again. I think there are more Christians than vegetarians in this country...I think you need a new marketing strategy. I am disgusted. Please send to corporate headquarters since the ones on your site say "page not available".

Feel free to reply if you care how people with families feel about your commercials--or maybe it is just people who like vegetables.

I thought the ad was cute. The Go Daddy ad was disgusting.

What was un-Christian during the commercial? Was it that a man showed his chest or that two people kissed? I don't think either of them are un-Christian.

I've seen much worse and found nothing offensive about this ad. Funny you didn't find the Go Daddy ad offensive also.

I think this was one of the many where I found myself asking, 'What are they advertising?' until the end. I swear I don't see what all the hype is with the Superbowl commercials for all the money they pay for the 30 seconds...they should at least let it be known what is being advertised. There were quite a few of them, where I was asking myself that question. I didn't like the GoDaddy commericals either...but,I do have to say the Budweiser commercial with the guy sending his horse off to the Budweiser company after raising it from a baby, brought a tear to my eye...

DB, I thought the Budweiser commercial was the best. You can Google it and see an extended version and how they made it. This includes a video of the baby horse at 7 days old and the bond developed with the trainer. It also shows the very trusting mother horse. Yes it also brought a tear to my eye.

The Taco ad was mildly outragous. I agree with Littl Little that the GoDaddy (with the girl and the nerd kissing) is kind of gross, especially when you hear the two exchanging saliva while tongueing.

Budweiser won hands down. Now if the new German owners would please put "our" Clydesdale's back in the Rose Bowl Parade, thank you!
