MILLER PLACE, NEW YORK -- The customer service was terrible, set date for insulation and they never showed up, no call from anyone explaining their no show, did not return calls, had to go to local store to find out what was going on. After spending 2 hours at the store I was still unable to contact anyone to explain the situation, still did not get a return call after leaving numerous messages. Finally got a call for appointment the next day…… but they failed to show up again….still no communication from anyone explaining their second no show.
Finally rescheduled insulation for the next week, I had originally gone with Home Depot, despite their higher estimate, than other contractors figuring they would be reliable and reputable. After they show up they add on an additional cost of 5, 000 from their initial estimate for work that other contractors quoted as no more than an additional cost of 1,500 should have been charged.
Do yourself a favor and get a recommendation from someone in the area and you will save close to 40%. I paid 14,500 for a job other contractors with identical craftsmanship quoted afterwards as being no more than a 9,000 dollar job. They are going to charge you 5,000 for being the middle man between the contractor and you, ridiculous prices.
