Comcast Chat Room - Terrible, Uninformed Service
Call Forwarding While on Vacation - Complaint
While in FL for 3 months, I went on the Comcast Xfinity chat room to find out why I had been unable to put call forwarding into effect. I spent over 1 1/2 hours on the phone with Maria [snip] with no luck. At the end of the call she said that since I wasn't listed on the account she couldn't talk with me. (From a subsequent call, I learned from Comcast that I WAS on the account and was verified with the last 4 digits of my social security number.) When I said she hadn't helped at all, she informed me that in fact I was helped as she had told me of their process. However this process resulted in nothing!
