Misrepresenting 30 Shrimp Deal From Red Lobster What A Joke

MANSFIELD, OHIO -- Stopped by Red Lobster Mansfield Ohio to get the 30 shrimp dinner. Ordered the meal 15 scampi and 15 linguini fettuccini, that's when it went wrong. There were 15 average size in the scampi but the linguini the largest shrimp wasn't any bigger then a DIME yes a dime. I lined them up and they were the size of TWO shrimp. WHAT A SCAM DON'T ORDER IT. After leaving Red Lobster went to Golden Coral and for $12 ALL the SHRIMP I COULD EAT IT WAS GREAT. I'm not going pay that kind of money for salad shrimp.

IMO, Reb Lobster is pretty much a joke any way you crack the shell.
You can't expect to get very large shrimp if a meal includes 30. A half dozen really large shrimp could be a meal, but you won't find those at RL.

I had a similar experience recently at RL. For $19.95 you get to pick three different food items. I choose the garlic shrimp, parmesan shrimp and flounder. OMG what a disappointment. The portions were so small it looked like an appetizer. The shrimp were not much bigger than what you get in a Chinese egg roll. RL should be ashamed of themselves. This Darden chain gives the customer no value and should be avoided.

I was only at Red Lobster once and didn't find anything interesting about it.
I won't eat Shrimp unless I clean them myself. I don't trust anyone to de-vein or scoop the poop shoot for me.

The best value I have found for shrimp is from Costco. They sell the raw big black tiger shrimp de-veined and de-pooped. I steam them with Old Bay for 3 to 4 minutes and they come out perfect.

To be fair, all they advertised was that you would receive 30 shrimp - they did not specify it would be of any signifigant size.
