Dormia - Great Mattress at First - Then Junk After 3-4 Years
Dormia Latext/memory Foam Mattress - Complaint
Review by Xdaemon76 on 2013-02-09
RALEIGH, NORTH CAROLINA -- Just like the title says, I bought a Dormia combination memory foam/letex mattress for about $2,000 in 2007. I don't remember the exact model, but it was one of the mid-grade selections. It is designed not to need box springs or to be flipped to maintain top quality support. The sales guy mentioned one of the great things about the design is that it will easily last 20 years, and backed it with a 20-year warranty.
3 Years later, my wife notices sagging on her side of the bed. I really don't notice much on my side, but my wife said that my side was just as bad. 6 months more, she says she is not getting a good night rest because of the increased sagging and is waking up with a backache. I flip the mattress 180 degrees and notice it too. My side gets worse, my wife's starts sagging worse as well. 4 years into the Dormia experience and I just paid a cool $1,500 on a Serta iComfort. Just threw the Dormia in the trash. Don't buy one unless you like to waste money.
