HAZLETON, PENNSYLVANIA -- Walmart in general discuss new here is a billion dollar a year store that can careless about there customers SHAME ON YOU !!!!!! A COMPANY THAT CAN BRING IN SO MANY JOBS BUT REFUSES. NOTHING LIKE HAVING NO HELP ON THE FLOOR AND 50 REGISTERS AND HAVING 6 OPEN. THE ONLY TIME I SHOP AT WALMART IF IT'S AFTER ALL THE OTHER STORES ARE CLOSED. I HOPE THIS COMPANY GOES BANKRUPT.

I was in that store when it was almost brand new. Jack Palance was seen in there, seeing as he was from Hazleton. He's chatting with Sam Walton about this letter, no doubt.

Walmart does not pay their employees a liveable wage and they receive little training. This is a reflection of poor management. Customer service is almost nonexistent. I tolerate this only because the prices on their food staples are cheaper than the chain grocery stores. I'm in and out in less than 20 minutes. I split my big shopping trips between Costco and Shop Rite.

It doesn't sound good, but I have to stay neutral since I haven't set foot in our local Walmart (the last time I was there it was dirty, had no help and the food products looked questionable) in several years and have no plans to in the foreseeable future.

"Walmart does not pay their employees a liveable wage" Yet, over a million people in the US alone work for them. Capitalism: you get paid what they think you are worth, if you disagree, quit and get a higher wage. In the global economy, US wages are too high and yes Virginia its a race to the bottom with wages. Singapore enjoys a very nice standard of living and there is no minimum wage.

What kind of person wishes that tens of thousands of people lose their jobs?

I like going to Walmart! I'll be stopping by my Walmart on the eve of Valentine's Day to get gifts for my jumpoffs.

Many people lost their jobs and businesses when walmarts demanded to come into their towns. walmart comes in with low prices so the other stores that have been there for decades can not compete and as soon as they run them all out they raise their prices and give non service. It is the walmart way.

I agree with the shopper at Wal-Mart. I o not got to Wal-Mart any more. They display no value on my time as a shopper. With so many avaiable cash redgisters open but no cashiers- leaving me having to wait in line for an unreasonable amount of time to pay for my items. Who has time for that anymore.

Wal-Mart is a Multi-billion dollar company- and one main variable is how they pay MOST of its staff- very little. It is time Wal-Mart truly give back to the American society an pay it forward. Wal-Mart help raise the standard of living by paying your employees better, and providing a better package.
