Walmart - Poor Customer Service

ROCHESTER, NEW YORK -- We have continually experienced unfriendly, rude, sullen behavior from cashiers at the Chili Ave, Rochester, NY store. Seldom hear a greeting, a thank you, or even see eye contact from the cashier. We are no longer patronizing this store, nor are our neighbors who have the same complaints.

at my local walmart, the cashiers are very friendly, courteous and always greet me with a smile. on a recent trip to new york state, i often found people not to be very smiley.

This happens at my local WalMart, and I just assumed they are all the same way.
I shopped at WalMart for a short period of time for groceries. What I found out ultimately was I could pay 2 to 3% more at far better stores in my area (Giant and Wegmans), and get friendly CSRs, full shelves, and a wider selection of products. also the fruit, veggies and meats at WalMart were far inferior to those of any other store I've been in in my life.
For me, it was no contest. It is worth the very small premium to shop where my business is valued and people go out of their way to be helpful and pleasant. I feel like I need a shower and delousing after leaving WalMart.
