PAGE, ARIZONA -- I booked through this website and ended up paying about 25% higher than the normal rate for the hotel (Quality Inns). When I arrived at the hotel I found out that I had mistakenly reserved my room for the wrong weekend - a weekend later than my actual arrival date (my fault). Luckily there was room at the hotel so I was able to stay there, for about $20 less than what I had paid ArizonaHotels.com. When I cancelled my Arizona hotels booking, they charged me $25 as their fee.

This is probably disclosed somewhere in their fine print, but there is obviously NO advantage of using them when you pay more than the going rate AND have a cancellation fee. How do they stay in business???

This is why it's always best to book direct with the hotel. You can usually get the best terms and rates that way.

Though one thing to consider is that rates can vary from week to week and even from day to day. It is possible that the rates for the following weekend were $20 more, which would explain the price difference.
