BOCA RATON, FLORIDA -- The manager of this store accused me of being drunk, I am a member of aa and have not had a drink in over 33 year, he said he smelled alcohol on mu breath and it was coffee. I take great insult to this. The reason why I was returning vertical panels that were not what the inexperienced sale person sold me and they were the wrong ling, I returned them within 1/2 hour. I was treated disrespectfully and accused or false allegation. Home depot and lowes which are very close to my hose and in the past 12 years I have purchased a new kitchen, appliances and counted plants and home repair item when your company ( as home depot) employed people that where knowledgeable in all your items, now it appears that due to downsizing you hire the least experience employees most like do to pa less and have much less knowledge as your previous employees that were knowledgeable, helpful and suggested the proper items. Not to mention you did not have to spend 1/2 looking for an employee. Remember builder square, that why the went out of business for lousy service. When I went back to return the incorrect & color item that the sales man said would work for my needs that was a broker window ( and by the way it took 3 employees to cut a plexiglas sheet of plexiglas as none of them seemed to know how to do it and came out in not very good condition. I took it home attempted to make a simple installment and the employee that sold it to me assured me the clips that left the verticals that when broker, there would be clips that would replace then and there were not, I was given white, when I specifically ordered beige. I go home and nothing was as I was told, insinuating that your current employing are sub par as the knowledge employees you have aprox. A year ago. The manage told me the employees were busy helping other customers, there was not more than 10 customers in the store, what have you downsized to q hand full of employees ( not the home depot is very close to your current service as I went to Lowe's in the hopes they were better equipped with more knowledgeable employees, unfortunately I was wrong. The thing that bothers me more is that yes, I was justifiably upset with the manager, but when he accused me of being drunk as an excuse to be rid of me, I asked him to you smell alcohol om by breath, he said no, all I dad to do is a cup of coffee before returning to the store. I take great pride that I have overcome my alcoholism and a member in good standing in and take great pride in that and your manager used that excuse to be reid or me. I did get a refund and until lowes restores the fine service they offered their customers in product knowledge I will not be patronizing your stores, advise my fiend & associate and I am a re estate broker and have much influence in my clients referrals I will not be referring them to lowes, ace hardwae, some items at home, depot and local hardware stores will be my rfereal and the manager at lowes on 44sr1, in boca raton has a nasty manage that treat people like crap and I as a customer for over 12 years will not be subjeted to disrespectful attitude when I an the custer. Home depot is the premier home store and if you goe the way these managers in particular the manager at the boca raton 441 managers attitude Lowe's will eventually got the route of builders square. I will not shop at lowes again do to this manager who is an insult, self sented, god complex individual and if I were you I would get a reliable, courtesy manager to run that store. L never write these types of complait letters by this guy really pissed mr of with this attitude and accused me of being drunk whn I have a 23 years of sombrely, they was not absolutely any sent of alcohol but he schose to use that as an excuse to be rid or me, I wonder how many customers he insulted so as not to be bothered. I just thought you should know, if you do any thing about it may be doubtful but I felt compelled to write this letter because I was greatly insulted by him. It would be nice to get a response but there days that Americans really don't give a dam, I would not hold mr breath to get one.
