LAGUNA NIGUEL, CALIFORNIA -- Our services have constantly been going out with cox. Constantly have a tech come out to repair their inferior work. Instead of admitting to their mistakes they proceeded to say AT&T employees cut their lines. Seriously I know AT&T has a superior service in you verse and if the only way cox can keep their customers is to lie and use slander on their competitors then it is safe to say its only a matter of time before COX is banned from providing services based on lies and outrageously high prices that continue to go up every month just another example of the many lies COX is affiliated with

You may want to contact the CA Dept. of consumer affairs via http://www.dca.ca.gov about your concerns. Also, the Laguana Niguel area looks like it has access to other competing services and it sounds like you may want to see about signing up with one of them.

If you search on this website, as well as others, you will easily find a myriad of complaints about AT&T Uverse as well. Most cable providers when establishing service in an area try to piggyback off of existing lines that run into the area; this often results in the use of older lines and equipment that may be approaching the end of its useful life. The municipality(if the lines are under their control) or the current provider of these lines may have little interest in spending money to maintain the lines. I am not a supporter of Cox, but this is a common issue with cable services.

I'm a long time Cox customer and for most of that time I was a cox fan boy. I must say though here of late Cox has gone downhill. Their contracted installation goons suck rocks, their "bundles" are confusing as heck and the ever throttling back of internet bandwidth is as annoying as it is greedy.

Look, I understand the times are changing and cable TV services are increasingly becoming obsolete not to mention the competition is stepping up their game and Google ISP is in the rear view mirror but if you think pooping on your long term customers is the path to success in the future well you're in for a rude awakening. The corporate history of the USA is full of forgotten out of business companies that chose to put the squeeze on their customers when times were tough. Don't be a footnote, GET A CLUE COX!

J.D. Power and Associates gave Cox the highest honor in customer satisfaction for residential cable and satellite customers. Maybe take your complaint up the ladder at Cox and see if they can live up to that J.D. Power rating with you?
