EDINA -- What is with all the glue on Poise pads lately? I haven't read about it anywhere but I can't be the only one who it has affected. There's so much adhesive now that parts of the pad rip away leaving pasty residue in your panties! YUK! Sure I want adhesion but c'mon!!!

Anyone have another product that they can recommend similar to Poise without all the downfalls... i.e. product with good absorbency, price, etc.

Note: just spoke with Kimberly Clark representative about this and yes, refunding my money, yes going to report it, and yes had "glue removal tips" on how to save my undies...interesting

I, too, have just received a response from Kimberley Clarke concerning the glue on their pads that leaves big holes in soiled pads when attempting to remove from underwear...Ugh!! It has also made holes in my underwear as well. Their response was they were sending my money back (they did not say how much - but it should be at least $350 to cover my purchases in the last 6 months) and also gave me instructions on how to remove the pads by using household spot remover or ammonia or vegetable oil.....Eeeuuuuwww! I can't imagine why they changed the glue.... For 20 years, it worked perfectly! There are some inferior products in competition with Poise, but I have been unable to use them. Just wish they would fix the glue issue!

I totally agree with the above. My 99 year old mom uses them and I have noticed this. It is very unpleasant to work with. I have constantly recommended Poise pads but now I'm not so sure I should. My mom came up with the idea of ripping off a small amount of tape on each end so the majority of the tape is still covering the adhesive. The pads stick only on the ends. It helps.
