NEW RICHMOND, OHIO -- They wanted four thousand dollars just for two rooms which aren't very big. Then they wanted 500 more just to move are furniture and said we still had to help move the TVs. I told the sales guy I wanted pink carpet and he keep bringing in the wrong colors trying to talk me into the most expensive options.

Empire is a ripoff, do not do business with them. They use high pressure sales people that push an inferior product at high prices. Read the reviews on this site, many unhappy customers.

P.S. Pink carpet???

I have a three bedroom house with a bonus room and they wanted $2600.00 for the entire house and they would have moved the furniture themselves. They were pretty much consistent with the other carpet people in the area here.

Buy one room, get five for free. The biggest problem with that little marketing ploy is they are over charging you about ten times over for the one room. "Empire is a ripoff", true.

Empire sold us a so called california berber, turns out it was a cheap short shag, not a true berber at all, causing us to eplace all the carpet we had installed 3 years previous, by empire. Best advice, talk to Lowes or Home Depot and stay away from empire. bait and switch is what they do..
