DELAWARE -- I had subject flooring installed in my home and within 12 weeks we discovered that it was becoming discolored. We contacted the store where it was purchased and they pawned us off on Mohawk who also gave us the brush off. Their claim was that the floors discolored because of exposure to light. Well, what home does not have light?

I am light sensitive and the light in my home is extremely subdued and this was proven to an inspector who came to my home. He totally lied in his inspection report and stated that the floors were exposed to bright sunlight. Really? The furniture was in the rooms for 10 years but did not have any fading. Fabric is far more susceptible to fading than hardwood floors but 10 years of light on fabric caused no fading but 12 weeks on Mohawk flooring changed the color of the floors. Can you say bull boys and girls?
