cell phone

LENOIR, NORTH CAROLINA -- I had a Motorola cell phone I got from Verizon. It was three years ago. I just needed something simple to communicate with my helpers. Verizon has good coverage in my area the foothills of NC, ant the best place for communicating via wireless, I think maybe it is because of the hills that kinda bounce the signal back and away from you, if you are down in a valley. ( the shadow effect or something like that) well a tri-mode is the only family of phones that will give halfway decent service.
Well, if you get in a hurry and busy as a one armed paperhanger, accidents may or most assuredly will happen. On a rather hectic and busy day I drove off and forgot to get my phone off the top of my truck. I pulled out on to a street and heard something slide and in my rearveiw mirror watched my phone hit the pavement. I saw one peice go this way and another peice go that way. well after cussin myself and trying to figure out just how I could kick my own butt,I turned around and went back too pick up the peices, just can't litter ya know what I mean.I could't stop because of some idiot on my tail too close. I saw two cars run over that phone. I was just trying to remove the peices from the street, not really thinking it would ever work again. I picked up the peices and went back to my shop, and thought, " well I sure am glad i GOT THE INSUREANCE".
Being kinda curious and a tinkerer of sorts I put the phone back together. It worked and I used that phone with all the war wounds for months after that. I don't know if Motorola is made and/or assembled in the good ole USA or not but that ole phone was one tough mother. Just thought you might want to know some good things about companies.
