Walgreens - Bad Attitude

ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA -- On Feb. 9th my 15 yr. old granddaughter and I went to the Walgreens above to get some nailpolish (we had a $3.00 coupon for Cover Girl nailpolish). The store has items mixed up and couldn't find it!!!! I went to an employee close by and asked her about the polish. She responded with a sarcastic response! I went to the area she said and still could not find the polish! Her response like I said was sarcastic and I went back to her and told her she needed to be a little kinder to her elders. I'm 64 and I guess her to be in her 40's. He immediately got more of an attitude and raised her voice. I was appalled AGAIN at her attitude. She said "I have a 20 yea old daughter and you don't know anything about me." Well I have a 38 year son and 34 year old daughter plus 8 grandchildren. There was another employee down another aisle and she sided with the woman. I will admit I got a little upset but I did not deserve to be treated in the way this employee handled herself in the manner she did especially for her being a manager!!!!! I left without the nailpolish!!!
One more thing- the employee FOLLOWED US OUT TO THE PARKING LOT!!!! This is very unprofessional!!! What did she hope would occur? I as a result WILL NEVER SHOP AT WALGREENS AGAIN even though it's about 2-3 miles from my house!!!! This has given me a bad taste in my mouth!!!!

There's a Walgreens probably within a block or two of my home. I think they are probably located at almost every intersection in my area. The employees nearest my home could not be more helpful. Never has anyone not greeted me with a bright smile and offered assistance if needed.
Are Walgreens individually owned or corporately owned? I don't know. I'm with JKT, what was her initial response to you? It wasn't mentioned in your review.
