GDI Complaint - GDI "COLLECTION AGENCY" IS A FRAUD - ITS A FRAUD DONT PAY
ITS A FRAUD DONT PAY - Complaint
A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO I RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM THEM. THEY SIAD THEY WERE ON THEIR WAY TO MY HOUSE, THEY WERE GOING TO DROP OF A PAPER FOR A CIVIL LAWSUIT. WELL I SAID WHAT IS IT FOR? HE SAID I OWED THEM $3,500 FROM A LOAN I HAD TOOKEN IN 1996. I SAID WELL YOU HAVE THE WRONG PERSON CAUSE I HAVE NEVER TOOKEN A LOAN FROM ANYONE. HE SAID NO ITS YOU I HAVE YOUR NAME, DATE OF BIRTH, SOCUAL SECURITY NUMBER, AND YOUR ENTIRE HISTORY. SO I SAID WHAT IS MY SSN TO TEST HIM AND HE HAD IT. AND I SAID WELL IM ONLY 19 HOW COULD I HAVE TOOKEN A LOAN IN 96' IS I WAS ONLY 10 YEARS OLD. HE THEN SAID IT WAS A LOAN THAT MY DAD TOOK AND SAID HE WOULD GARNISH MY MOTHERS WAGES AND TAKE AWAY ANY OF OUR PROPERTY I.E. CAR, HOUSE,FREEZE MY BANK ACCOUNT,.... I SAID I DONT HAVE ANYTHING. WELL THE NEXT DAY HE CALLED AND I ASKED HIM TO SEND ME WRITTEN AND SIGNED PAPERS BY MY PARENTS OR FAMILY MEMBER AND HE NEVER SENT ANYTHING. HE ALSO SAID WE COULD SETTLE THIS OUT OF COURT FOR $1,500. I REALLY HOPE HE IS READING THIS ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS THAT SOMEONE NEEDS TO PUT A STOP TO THIS!!!!!!!!

Frankly, I am more disturbed by a graduate of american schooling saying "I had tooken".

You cannot be held liable for any loans anyone takes out (including your parents). You must be 18 years of age to sign for any type of credit. Two things possible here, 1) You are a "JR." and your credit file is mixed in with your fathers or 2) Possible identity theft. You may one to get a copy of your credit report to verify. Last tell the collector to pound sand and you would be happy to meet them in the court room!

I'm with Ken...I can't get past this person writing 'tooken" not once but three times.
