VPI Pet Insurance - Poor Customer Service, Fraud Charges

BREA, TEXAS -- I had called to cancel a policy and payment 30 minutes after payment was "processed" my account said it was pending, Steve had told me all was canceled and the money would be back in my account on Thursday (3 days later), well Wednesday night, the money was drafted out of my account!! I called and they said the policy was not canceled!!

So basically they charged me with me being under the impression that my policy was canceled. All SALES REPS, not even customer service reps as they have no customer service at all, are very rude and unhelpful saying "oh the money has been refunded" when really it has not been.

It is now Friday 4 days after the fact and they have not done ANYTHING

When cancelling a policy you need to follow up with a written letter.
I have VPI and I believe them to be on the up-and-up. They are part of a larger well known insurance company.
It's best to read the contract, in it it states to cancel the policy they must receive the request in writing.
