ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA -- The woman told me I couldn't refill my grandmother's $1.00 coffee because she waited outside for me for 5 minutes. When I got there, I ordered me a$ 4.00 iced coffee and my grandfather a sweet tea and asked for my grandmother's senior coffee refill with six Splenda and six creams. The girl says something to the woman manager who says something to the other manager who says because my grandmother left out the door she couldn't have a refill. I had just finished ordering and also come here once a day for coffee and something to eat every day because my 24 Hour Fitness is right in the same parking lot.

The bathrooms have smelled like someone died in it. I've told them on several occasions and every time the same two manager's work the bathrooms are horrible and I've snapped pictures on a few occasions.

These managers are lazy, rude, very unprofessional and it pains me because the location is so convenient. I literally come here daily along with several of my 24 hr fitness comrades and my grandparents whom were involved in the situation. The manager said he doesn't know why I come back then. Well when I tell them and they say they already know it smells and they know it's dirty and you wanna throw up...smell the bathrooms.

Bathroom odors aside, if the patron leaves the building, I don't see a problem with enforcing their policy. Once you leave, that visit is over IMO.

Couldn't resist laughing that 24 hour fitness was used in the same sentence with McDonald's lol

trmn8r> I couldn't agree more. Refills are for dine-in customers only, and once you leave that concludes your dining experience. Common sense would dictate that to keep the loyal customer happy, you would make an exception. But you cannot fault an employee for upholding the corporate policy. I would understand criticizing someone for something that they did wrong by not following policy, but it sure is tough condemning someone for something they did right.

If I were you, I would call or email corporate and let them know. Im sure the franchise owner would love to know that his/her manager is telling customers not to come back. I personally would just find another place to get my coffee. I think its ridiculous they wouldn't refill her cup of coffee that probably costs them 5 cents to fill

With six Splendas and six creams, that's no 5 cent cup of coffee. Trmn is correct, when you walk out the door, your visit ends.
