Bobs Furniture - Poor Quality Leather Furniture

MANCHESTER, CONNECTICUT -- We have a pair of leather recliner sofas purchased 3 years ago from Bobs in Manchester CT. We were sold the goof proof warranty plan the leather is starting to peel. We tried to use goof proof warranty and were told they don't cover wear and tear or poor quality. I brought the piece of the recliner to Bobs they were of no help. I was told that if its poor quality, its up to the manufacturer to repair within the first year. This is not normal wear and tear. I have a 17 year old leather lazy boy with no issues.

I learned you get what you pay for at Bobs; poor quality, sham protection plan and no customer service.

Wonder if ole Bob has ever gotten a repeat customer? One would think the word is out on Bob's by now to help protect first time customer.

It's not real leather ... it's naugahyde ...an artificial material designed to resemble leather, made from fabric coated with rubber or vinyl resin.
