Progressive Insurance - They refused a claim

LAKEWOOD, COLORADO -- I have had Progressive for over two years because we found their premiums to be the cheapest but every six months our policy has went up at least 20 dollars or more ! I have automatic paymnt for my insurance ! Ie called onFeb 21 of 2013 to file a claim on a chip on my windshield but was told by AnDrew one of their claims adjusted that I couldn't file a claim for 24-48 hours because I was in-between policy renewal while waiting to be able to file the claim the chip turned into a crack half way across my windshield and now they refuse to cover it. I had to pay $350 out of my own pocket to fix it ! I went on to Progressive Facebook page to complain and they blocked me ! It is so sad how this company will do anything to milk the public for terrible insurance practices

Sometimes (usually often) the cheapest isn't the best.

Depending on what your deductible is you may have been paying out of pocket for the windshield anyways. My deductible is 500.00 and I had to pay out of pocket to get my windshield replaced cause the cost was less than my deductible, but then my windshield wasn't fixable, smashed from something that flew out of the back of a dump truck going the opposite way.

I have Amica Insurance and they cover chips with no deductible. Flo won't tell you about this.
