Dell - Worst printer on the market

OAK ISLAND, NORTH CAROLINA -- The Dell P 523W is the worst printer on the market. The printer head goes bad after just a few months. Dell solution to fixing it is clean the printhead format all it does is use ink at 20 dollars a pop and still does not clean. Then of coarse they tell you to deep clean to make sure you completely empty the ink cartridges and have to order ink from them.
Then they got nerve not to sell a replacement printhead. The after market print head cost more than the printer. What a rip off!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the world of low cost printers today. I have bought a few in the last 4 years, and I and unhappy with the "setup" - I don't like the fact that they make their money on ink, not the printer itself.
My solution was to buy a printer that you can easily use cheap generic cartridges in. So far, so good. It is a Brother. I'm still not totally happy, but for now it is working out. Given the "setup", I am not surprised at what happened to you with your Dell.
