J. Crew - Bogus Timing
Boots Ordered - Complaint
INTERNET, WISCONSIN -- I ordered boots online from J. Crew in December. They did not arrive with other items ordered at the same time. I waited for the boots months. In March, I got an e-mail regarding "a question" about the order on a Friday. When I returned to my computer the following Monday, there was an e-mail from J. Crew saying my order had been cancelled. I waited 3 months for my boots and they couldn't wait 48 hours for a response from me!
Nothing on the first e-mail said the matter was time sensitive. When I called customer service, Roger said it was company policy to turn around orders in 24 hours after an e-mail is sent regarding a problem. They did not have the boots in stock any longer online. I was a good customer of J. Crew but no longer!!
