Best Buy - No help
Computer - Complaint
MIDWEST CITY, OKLAHOMA -- Went to Best (Worst) Buy, Geek Squad, in MWC, OK, for a tune up on an desktop computer. They called me 3-4 days later saying they won't work on it because it has a leaky capacitor. I told them I would come and pick it up. When I got there I had to wait a while, but finally got it back, got home and plugged it up and it made a loud beeping sound. I called them and tried to talk to them about it as it worked when I took it in.
The only way I could get someone that day was online and they were no help. They told me it was because of the leaky capacitor I told them about. But I explained it worked before I brought it in. I ended up not accomplishing anything so I complained to the corporate and they had manager Jason D. call me on 3-13-13. He proceeded to tell me that my computer was broke when I brought it in so it wasn't their fault.
All I wanted was some small form of compensation from them as I am out a computer but they won't even see the possiblility that they damaged anything, whether there was an issue or not with it. It WORKED when brought in!!
They told me it would eventually go out.. but this is so suspicious to me that it quit working after they had it. I can't believe it just happened to quit coincidentally. They are not a helpful company, hard to get through to, they don't seem concerned or compassionate to the customers loss. I will boycott them from here out. They are not "best" buy to me.
