General - "Product Insurance Scam"

WYOMING -- I never buy the "insurance plan" that makes the price of the product jump by at least 30%. Sure enough the products longevity noticeably last at the maximum THREE years.

Here is what's going on: When they scan your item it codes the item to break within a certain date. So next time you go out YOU WILL WANT TO GET THE INSURANCE.

If you do buy the insurance, the decommissioned date is about ten years: This way the company doesn't have to pay to have it serviced and they hope by that time you on your own will destroy the product. The plan is part of the "PLANNED OBSOLESCENE." Corporations do not care about the "trash" effect on the planet behind the planned obsolescence as long as the profit margin goes up. The Sierra Club SAYS NOTHING. They have been silenced by the corporation. I got this info from an insider who left the corporation.

I think he's just referring to all extended warranties in general.
