Here's the break down on DigitalRev, this is merely information gathered from consumers, angry past workers, all gathered from the world wide web. So do with it what you please as this is just someones view, there is no facts here to prove anything, so make up your own mind.

DigitalRev is Hong Kong based. there customer service workers are paid less than minimum wage compared to Australia, NZ and UK. Turnover of staff is high because they under pay and workers cannot deal with so much complaints and stress of the bad procedures set in place by the owners and senior staff.

When you have a broken product and try to get your warranty claim, they will advise you to send the product back to HK to be inspected, here's the catch...they say they send your item to a professional inspection center to be checked...but it does not!, your product is checked by staff working at Digitalrev! then they make up a inspection invoice with a company that they have opened up, or a sub company which is made up by them.

When buying from them, check that your item has not being used, check the shutter count stored in the memory of the camera. When crap hits the fan and you want to speak to a manager there, don't bother, because you will be directed to a customer service representative pretending to be a manager, because they have not hired a manager as that is too much effort and cost. When staff are not going by there ways, they will instantly fire them with no warning.

One thing I don't understand is, why are people buying from them based on there YouTube channel reviews on cameras?

Lastly, everything that is related to cameras is listed via web by them so that they can capture more sales!, so when you actually order the item, they don't have it in stock, the CS staff will delay you till there staff finds the product and it's usually from a local small store in sham shui po, if you know Hong Kong well, sham shui po sells used products or B grade products cheap. The margin that they make can feed 100 poor families in Africa!.

Lastly, DigitalRev is a orange trying to be an Apple. What does that mean? well, if you are an orange, obviously you won't taste like an apple.

I love watching Dgital Rev on YouTube, which reviews cameras. I have heard that the cameras are being sold as used after the host reviews them. I would never buy cameras from Digital Rev as they can be rough on the camera. Watch Digital Rev on YouTube, and Im sure you wont buy from them either.
