Complaint

I have always enjoyed the Stouffer brand..I purchased 5 chicken pot pies from the Winn-Dixie here in Mobile. I placed this product in the freezer when arriving home. Two days later I cooked two of these pies..per directions printed on box. When I turned the product onto the plate it looked like a regular pie. When I cut into the pie, there was nothing...no filling at all.

The numbers on the boxes were 30295104xx e est186 blst before December 2013. I was disappointed with Stouffers chicken pot pies and took my purchase back to the store for a refund.

And the refund went smoothly. Too bad the pies were not good, but nice for the store for making good on problem.

Besides posting on here make sure to call Stouffer's
because they won't know of the problem unless it is called in, and this is something that even though you got a refund, they need to be informed of.

I had a similar problem with Stouffer's cream chipped beef. The bag was 95% cream with just a hint of beef. Customer service was very receptive to my complaint. They explained that possibly the nozzle that inserts the beef became clogged causing the problem. To make things right they apologized and sent me 5 coupons for free boxes of chipped beef. This is customer service done right.

since those things are filled by machine, it's not unusual for the occasional one to slip through the cracks. I had the same thing happen to a Michelina's Lean Gourmet meal. There was no chicken in it at all. I emailed the company and they sent me some coupons for future purchases. Mistakes happen and I'm glad that you were able to at least get your money back.
