Hot Water, Dead Bolt Lock - Complaint

Thursday 3/21/13 noted posted that 3/22/13 the water would be off between the hours of 11a-5p, but this isn't what happened. water was on until late 3/22/13, and then it was off.

3/23/13 no hot water, started the early morning warm then no heat of any sorts, no announcement, no update regarding the problem, no phone message of the ongoing problem.

3/24/13 same problem no hot water. I'm a part of at least 24 other people that I talked with and overheard talking about this problem, There was a wedding party in the house that was affected as well.

I soon realized that the room dead bolt was inoperable. I reported it to the front desk supervisor, no dead bolt for another day, then I approached me again he was on the floor, he came to the room to verify the dead bolt was inoperable, says a new dead bolt is needed.

I was there 7 days and it wasn't repaired before I checked out.

I was among the very first to report the hot water problem, and no conccession was offered to me, but I was at the computer in the business area that is right off from the front desk, and as others came down to talk with the front desk personnel he offered those persons complimentary breakfast, but I was required to ask for the same amenities, both days. I was the only one of the other 24 that I was aware of that had a need to do that. the (3RD and 4th floors) were affected that I'm aware of for sure.

The current hotel supervisor is (INEPT) to handle this position, he was befuddled on making concessions to all of these people, he was absolutely bewildered. The guests demanded what they got, and I'm telling you (IRATE) is insufficient to tell a sufficient story of how displeased customers were. I was told by this supervisor that I had pre-paid and was not entitled to any other concessions. I needed to wait for (1) hour to check out. The meeting I was attempting to get through I missed out.

If you had used a website deal to book the room, your 'rights' as a full paying guest are not there.
And if you scored a deal on pricing you were pushing for extras to be given to you - free breakfast.
BUT hot water is not like something that only full pay guests should have access to, I am glad that you pushed. It is disappointing that you had to push. The place should have responded to the water problem better.....but accidents happen and full pay or loyalty program guests come back.
