DISH Satellite Television - DISH Bait and Switch Policies

SULLIVAN, INDIANA -- I needed to add another TV to our DISH satellite system. I had already fulfilled my two year contract and asked for the same benefits as a new customer. DISH agreed and on January 16,2013, quoted me $80.99/month for a new two year contract w the new upgrades (two more TV's and the Joey system).

I wrote down the date and time of my call as well as the names and employee numbers of the two who set up the arrangement, Jay, #8F0, and a supervisor, Brenda, #307. My first bill was over $140 and the second was over $115!

Called DISH on Monday, March 25,2013, and spoke to Lindsey, #1DP, and supervisor Derrick, #H7V.

They refused to refund the overcharges, refused to honor the $80.99 agreement from their own people whom I named for them, but did generously agree to now drop the monthly charge to $95 plus tax!

They admitted that I had been quoted that price by their employees but said rates had changed and they would no longer honor it but did fully expect me to honor my two year contract!

Never have I seen more unscrupulous individuals...avoid DISH.
