Priceline - Customer Service Doesn't Exist With This Company
Hotel Reservation - Complaint
UNKNOWN, CALIFORNIA -- I had a terrible hotel experience in using Priceline. I tried to handle the issue directly with the hotel and got nowhere. So I contacted Priceline and they said that they would contact the hotel and ask for a resolution. The hotel refused to find resolution and Priceline stated in the future to call them and they would help resolve.
So fast forward 4 months and Priceline books me back to the same hotel I had issue with previously. I called customer care to ask for my reservation to be changed and was told it was policy that they couldn't change or cancel my reservation. I asked what could they do to satisfy my concerns and bottom line....NOTHING!!! Went up the chain of command (Call Center not in US), and got read the same thing over and over by other Priceline reps. I'm done with their company and their service. While you can get a decent price using their service be warned that they have NO CONTROL or LATITUDE in keeping a customer satisfied in a bad situation.
You decide if a lower price is worth it to you.
