Informative - What is this all about?

Review by 15910 on 2006-02-14
COLORADO -- Not into phone chatlines but I have noticed that a "regular" or two on here have really been taken in by this service. I picture it as some free "976" talkline where anomynous guys and girls can blabber on about things they're not. Has anyone else out there tried this Paltalk? Thanks.

I have not heard of this program before. If it is someone I know, I would prefer to use a real phone or skype or IM chat or email. Remember the good old days when you just had phones, snail mail and face to face talking? Sometimes I miss those days....

Really, if I don't know someone, why would I want to chat with them? The whole thing sounds alittle light in the loafers if you ask me.

How about the need to impress?

All three of you make some very good points. The thought of some 'dude' breathing heavily into the phone gives me the "willees".

I would have no interest talking to someone I don't know.

It's the same as the Yahoo messenger...I downloaded Paltalk when I read about it on a posting...just to check it out...It no more dangerous then sitting on your local bus full of choose who to talk with and who not to, you can block out those you don't want to be bothered with...I didn't go into any chatrooms on there, but I have on Yahoo. If you're adults, you can handle the people on there.
