Get Organized/AKA Taylor Gifts - I was double billed
PENNSYLVANIA, PENNSYLVANIA -- I ordered from Get Organized/Taylor Gifts my 2 items was on back order. I waited and called them, they told me my debit card was declined. I called the bank and they said merchant has not picked up. Get Organized told me it will not go through, so I said if your sure, my mistake I trusted them and gave them my credit card. I got my items a week or so later. Then I went online to check my online banking and seen another charge from get organized was made on my bank account, it said on hold again, after they have been paid with my credit card.
I called them and they said items was going to be sent again but will be stopped, it wasn't. I checked the next day and they took out over 100 dollars without my permission. I am very upset, they told me to refuse the item when it comes, and I will get a refund, I sure hope so. I have done that, but who knows if I will get my money back.
After this I decided to check reviews on the company, and was reading about other people being double charged and some membership that is being charged to you credit card. I went back and checked and seen a 1.95 charge UMG was made on my credit card. From what I have read it starts 1.95 then is 14.95 once or twice a month. I did not join any membership, only thing I can figure out is, on the website to get into user account, there is a pop up ad and you can't x out of it until you put in your email address in the box, then you can go into user account. How tricky is that. I don't get anywhere with customer service and don't trust them, so I canceled my credit card. I will have to end up doing the same with my bank account. I took out money, so they can't make anymore charges there either.
I feel bad for all the people this has happened to. I will be checking my bank account more closely, and credit card after this. I don't want to deal with this company again. I now will be very careful what company I order from, and be making sure I am not tricked into some fake membership, and being charged for it. I think there should be a law against this type of thing. It's been 2 weeks I refused the item and still no money. I emailed them 2 times and I got a email back that said it wasn't their company's fault I was double charged. I wrote back and said how nice for you people to make mistakes double charge the customer, and then blame the customer. I heard nothing back. All you get is lies from these people. All the calls and emails and I don't get anywhere with these people. I may not ever get my 118.71 back they owe me.
