Howard Johnsons Informative - Really Bad Hotel Experience

Review by TheBunman on 2006-02-14
Okay I thought I was being bitter by wanting to post a super negative review but after reading other reviews I see that I am not alone. I spent two days in a HJ hotel and it was awful. no clicker for the telly. the receptionist told me to get over it, they didn't have any remote controls "cause people steal them." who would steal a remote control from a hotel. and then, the room's carpet was disgusting and when I asked for tea bag instead of coffee they looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language. never again is what I say. never again

They have HoJo's over in England? These big chains are log, my friend. I've stayed in many small inns in England...(Cheshire, Tyne, Cumbria) and they know how to take care of people over there.

No clicker, dirty rug, no tea bags? That's it? Your title "really bad hotel experience" had me expecting much worse.

Take your own tea bags.. they do not take up much space..

You should've known better than to enter the dreaded HoJo.
