TEMPE, ARIZONA -- I was in a car accident, my first car accident, over three months ago and my car was totaled and the accident was the other person's fault. I was assigned two adjusters throughout the process, one with Kemper and one with Progressive, the other person's insurer. Progressive treated me more like a human being than my own personal insurance company, which is crazy. Rico, the adjuster assigned to me, never EVER returned my phone calls and made the process last longer than it needed to because he would never call me back. After leaving him 5 voice mails in the span of a week, he finally called back with the lame excuse "I was busy". I understand some people are unreasonably busy occasionally, but as an adjuster, your job is to call people back. When I tried to call a supervisor to complain about him, I was treated like crap. She said, "There is no supervisor for you to speak to." When I demanded it again and told her what was going on, she told me it's none of my business if they take action against him or not.
Screw you Kemper, I have never felt more like an idiot in my life. You made this process more stressful than it should of been!!!
