The Home Depot - Washer/dryer Nightmare
PITTSFIELD, MASSACHUSETTS -- I have had the most outlandish experience with The Home Depot. First I live in between MA and NY. I first went to the Home Depot in NY, waited 45 minutes to get help and no one ever helped, I then went to the store in MA. I had already picked out what I wanted all I needed to do was buy it.
When we walked up to the store there were several employees blocking the entrance smoking and we actually had to say excuse me to get in. Very unprofessional. I then waited over an hour for someone to help me and the gentleman did everything he could but he wasn't from that dept and had little knowledge and then they tried to charge for things like hoses that came with the washer and I had I not been looking over the girls shoulder they would have gotten away with it.
And then they tell us we are going to have to wait another 3 weeks for delivery so we schedule an appointment and tell them we have a child in school so they would have to bring before 3. I then receive a call from the outsourced company out of NY stating they will be there between 3-7 so I call them back and that company had the worst customer service ever even in comparrison to Home Depot. I still am waiting for my set. They have our money and the delivery company told well you can always wait longer and if we should happen to get an earlier time we will call you 24 hours ahead.
Well, one I have already waited too long. They tried to jip me and the delivery company could care a less about Home Dept customers as I was told they also deliver for GE. There is so much more that has gone wrong and they just aren't willing to do anything about.
