State Farm insurance - State Farm Has All the Power, makes All the Rules
HARRISON, MICHIGAN -- To begin let me give you the background info. I was a passenger of a State Farm insured driver who cause a severe roll over accident in which I was severely injured (crushed vertibrea). I had several months of physical therapy on top of several months of healing. Over a year after the accident I was cleared to work again, however my position had been filled so I was left jobless. State Farm said they would continue to pay me my wage loss (which I've had to fight to get nearly every month since the beginning of all this) as long as I actively documented and look for a new job,(which I did aggressively for a number of months). The problem really starts here. Out of the blue they decided that since in my previous job I occasionally filed for unemployment( less than a month a year) that they no longer owe me for four of the winter months and they over paid me this past winter resulting in the immediate termination of my wage loss. No warnings just nothing no money. So as a result of there insured negligent driver and there shamefull policies here I am almost two years later with a half broke back and a completely broke bank account. Between state laws(designed for and by the insurance companies) and a multi billion dollar companies hurtful policies I am left powerless and broke.
