Sprint Cellular - Worst Customer Service I've Ever Experienced
Sprint HTC EVO and Sprint Cellular Service Plan
TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA -- As a 8-9 year old customer, my family has always had pretty good service and equipment from Sprint Cellular. Not anymore. Our family's last set of phones and the company's service were among the worst we've ever experienced. We purchased the HTC Evos and from day one the batteries wouldn't stay charged the charger connectors on the phones gradually became defective and there were constant dropped calls and delays. And we never did get the promised 4G service Sprint promised would be coming to Tallahassee within a few months.
Then about a year or so into our 2 year plan, the phones just began to outright fail, with some application or key service like the voice mail or contacts just suddenly disappearing from the phone. When we asked for Sprint to fix them, they said it would be $75 just to look at them with no guarantees they would be fixed. We were also told we could not switch to a different phone but were stuck with the EVO until our 2 year contract ended.
After losing my mail, contacts, camera and having issues with the phone constantly restarting itself, I asked Sprint if we could upgrade early or get out of the contract 2 months early but the supervisor reminded me that in the fine print of the contract, Sprint never promised to provide us with a working service package, or any functional phones. So we were stuck with our phones & service unless we wanted to pay the big early release penalty. Worse phone & customer service ever!!! Shame on you Sprint!
