Amscot - No Limit , NO Charge, NO Problem... Not Accurate
RIVERVIEW, FLORIDA -- DEAR AMSCOT: When you demand that a customer fills out an application for an "account" with your "financial institution" because they are getting a money order (over a certain amount), and then ask the person where they work and claim that is in fact "AMSCOT'S business," and then demand they they re-smudge their finger print because its not dark enough for you... ITS A PROBLEM, and NO, I am not interested in further products that your "financial institution" offers. And as for what the money is used for... ALSO not your business.
Best fear-driven response from interaction "Ever since 911 our policies reflect..." <---Really? You're going to use 911 to justify your flaming ph@ck hoops? You just cheapened yourselves.
Best Blow-It-Out-You-Arse Justification: "The reason we ask for why you are purchasing your money order is so that if you say its for X and the lose the money order, and someone finds it and comes in and says its for Y, then we would not cash the money order. You see?... it is really to protect you the customer..." <---- ....um...yeaaaaah, right.
Telling me through out the interaction that you "will try" to get me the money order, or "I'll let you slide this time" for not making a firm enough imprint of my finger print does not encourage me to want to know more about what products you offer.
