PORT WENTWORTH, GEORGIA -- Checked in hotel on Monday April 22nd with reservations for 6 nights. I checked out the next morning because I was up all night unable to sleep due to the loud noise from interstate 95 . The noise was so loud it was if though my bed was in the middle of interstate 95. I called the front desk to complain and was told by the desk clerk that they were aware of the traffic noise because other people complained. She offered to place me in another room @ 3:30 am. I moved and you cold still hear the traffic noise . So the next morning when I went to check out spoke with the manager, he was rude and did not apologize but again stated that people complain but not all of them, and since I had a discounted rate then those are the rooms that you get . I was in the Savannah area on business all week. That was the worst hotel experience I've ever had.

Hotels have no control over the traffic noise. Yes, they can do things to minimize it to an extent such as soundproofing, curtains, etc.

This is a helpful review for others. I'm guessing, though I didn't look, that one may find similar complaints online.
