PHOENIX, ARIZONA -- Unfortunate experience. First day the care provider was a no-show, gave company a second chance to send another person the next week, even confirmed with the President, and the care take was 30+ min late so I canceled all together. Especially for in-home care of seniors punctuality is critical and they MUST show up.

I trust they will fix this issue but for now I've moved on to a different company.

Having cared for a senior, and arranged for in-home services, I agree that punctuality is extremely important. You made a wise decision to move on.

I have a friend locally who dealt with this sort of thing. Her MIL required around the clock sitters so she could still live at home. She and her husband would receive a call from the night sitter stating the morning sitter had not shown up. My friend would cancel whatever she had planned for the day. Gratefully she did not have a job outside the home, and she would tell you that in a minute, but it got old after a while.
